This week our team completed our annual High Voltage Rescue and Safety Certification.
Electric vehicles operate at 400 to 800 volts. Engineered and handled correctly, they are safe, reliable and incredibly capable. Handled incorrectly, they are dangerous.
At Australian EVS, only qualified engineers work on battery enclosures and high voltage systems, and we do so with:
⚡ Insulated high voltage tooling
⚡ Arc-rated PPE
⚡ Strict lock-out and tag-out procedures
⚡ Rescue equipment on standby
⚡ AED (defibrillator) on site
⚡ A trained second person present at all times
No one should ever open a battery enclosure or handle high voltage cabling without the proper training, equipment and safety controls in place.
If you are considering an EV conversion, EV repairs or aftermarket upgrades, make sure it is engineered safely from the outset.
If you would like to discuss your project, our team is always happy to chat.
