The Amphenol MSD 250 A Fuse Plug is a high-current manual service disconnect designed to provide a safe and reliable method of isolating high-voltage DC power in electric vehicle and energy storage applications.
Rated for up to 250 A, the MSD plug incorporates an internal fuse element that delivers both over-current protection and manual disconnection in a single, compact assembly. When removed from the MSD receptacle, the plug physically separates the HV power path and opens the HV interlock circuit, ensuring downstream systems are safely disabled before service work begins.
The ergonomic, clearly visible disconnect design allows technicians to quickly verify system isolation, while the robust construction ensures reliable performance in high-vibration and high-temperature environments.
