This 2016 Nissan LEAF is currently in our Newcastle workshop for a major battery upgrade. We’re replacing its original 30 kWh battery with a 62 kWh pack, providing approximately twice the original battery capacity and significantly increasing its potential driving range.
As more EVs enter the second-hand market, battery replacement and upgrade options are becoming increasingly important. Replacing an ageing battery or upgrading to a larger-capacity pack can extend the life of an existing vehicle and keep it on the road for many more years.
