Electric Jaguar E-Type Drives Under Its Own Power

Our electric Jaguar E-Type has reached a major milestone: it’s running, driving and rolling out of the Australian EVS workshop under its own power.

Repowered with our eKit 5 electric drive system and a 60 kWh battery pack, the E-Type brings together the engineering, controls and integration work behind this conversion. In our latest workshop walk-around, Kienan takes you through the build and its first drive out of the workshop.

Seeing an iconic classic move with no engine noise or exhaust fumes is a special moment for the team. Further refinement and testing are still ahead, but this is an exciting step towards getting the E-Type back on the road.
